Why Pilots Flying at Night Need a Flashlight
For many pilots flying at night and in cockpits with limited lighting, having a reliable flashlight is important so that they can be able to illuminate maps, charts, check lists, and more.
In addition, pilots at unlighted airports or airports with limited lighting need to perform before flight checks. Without a flashlight, it will be difficult to see the airplane parts to perform the critical checks during the walk around.
Not being able to see the airplane's critical control surfaces, pilot's put themselves and their passengers in danger. Don't fly at night without a flashlight! Have a safe flight!
