EDC Belts are made from variety of different materials.  But, which is the right material for you? 

The two most common types of belts are leather and nylon.  Both types of belts have advantages and disadvantages, but whichever type of belt material you choose, it will need to be comfortable and able to support weight that's on your belt.

Leather is the most common material used in EDC belts.  It's been used to make all variety of belts for a very long time and has proven to be reliable.

Nylon Belts

Nylon belts have become very popular among the professional everyday carry community (military, police, etc...). 

Nylon belts usually come in two different variations.  You’ll find that they are made of two pieces of nylon webbing that are sewn together or you’ll see nylon belts with polymer lining that is typically infused with steel.

Throughout the day, we may be walking, running, bending over, seating down, squatting, etc..., therefore having an easy to use belt buckle that allows for quick adjustment is important.
